Chestnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Company: - Fire - Greenspring at Woodland
In the early morning hours of Sunday , March 15th, 2009, Chestnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Company 50 was alerted for a dwelling fire at Greenspring Avenue and Woodland Drive. An off duty county water officer was first on the scene and reported a "working fire". The house was reportedly vacant and undergoing renovations. An additional tanker strike team was requested by Engine 501 due to the lack of available hydrant water. Chestnut Ridge equipment was assisted by Baltimore County career and neighboring volunteer fire companies.
