Chestnut Ridge Vol. Fire Dept. " Calls "
On Septemeber 19th, 2008 a furniture truck entered Falls Road from Knox avenue, colliding with a Ford 350 pick-up and lawn trailer. There were 5 occupants in the Ford, 2 in the front seats and 3 in the back. The furniture truck had two occupants in the cab. Engine 501 assumed command - reporting 7 injured. Hazmat box was requested due to leaking saddle tanks on the furniture truck. Patients were taken by 4 ALS and BLS units to 3 hospitals including Shock Trauma.
